Alphabet is a creative, design and quality oriented furniture brand that was established in Cairo, Egypt in 2007, featuring a collection of products that are quite young in spirit, inspired by modern life, with some references to local tradition at the same time.
The Factory
Form is a furniture production facility that specializes in contract space furniture, hospitality furniture, prototyping and custom made products.
Ebony & Ivory is a design company that was established in Cairo, Egypt in October 1997.
At the early beginnings the company was mainly focused on designing interiors with a scope of work that covered both residential and contract spaces. Throughout the years, due to Ebony & Ivory’s passion for design, creation and experimentation the company’s scope of work evolved into a broader range that currently includes furniture design, furniture production, interior architecture and general architectural project consultancy.
Since1997 the company had established partnerships with certain European furniture companies, by the beginnings of 2003 and up until 2011 Ebony & Ivory was the sole agent in Egypt for Poltrona Frau (Italian designer furniture company), Edra (Italian designer furniture company), Alberti Cuccine (Italian kitchen designer / producer), Formanova ( Italian office furniture designer / producer), Iterby ( Italian office furniture designer / producer) and Mascagni ( Italian office furniture designer / producer).
At a certain point in time due to Ebony and Ivory’s progressive development a decision has been taken to focus on it’s own furniture design and production project, while keeping the necessary partnerships with a number of local and international firms.

It has been a long ride that resulted in the evolution of the company till it reached the current stage. Ebony & Ivory nowadays is one of the most prestigious design firms with running projects in both local and international markets.
At Ebony & Ivory we truly believe in teamwork, living in the present moment and listening carefully to our client’s operational and functional requirements, as well as their aesthetic preferences.
Our style and design philosophy have been changing over the years, constantly evolving into an updated version. If there’s a constant throughout the evolution process with Ebony & Ivory’s paradigm of thought that would be the ongoing challenge to embrace change and endorse fusion.
We believe that the whole world is one with cultural cross-fertilization being an inevitable fact. We believe we should always embrace that cultural fusion, we have to be contributing to the universal building and the none-stop evolution of design. We also believe that every single stage of design history has been, and will always be part of the future.
Since 1997 and up until now Ebony & Ivory has built relations with well-reputed international and local firms, amongst these firms we’ll have to make mention of Teknion furniture systems (Canada), Sinetica industries (Italy), Viasit (Germany) and Lawson Robb (UK).
